Opportunity for Poor Children New Zealand (OPCNZ) was established in early July 2007. After having visited OPC in Mae Hong Son in Thailand and being given the opportunity to open a funding body in New Zealand there was no stopping us! Set up primarily to raise the running costs of the orphanage in Mae Hong Son that looks after 22 (mainly) Burmese migrant children. Our vision is one of advocacy, awareness and providing financial assistance for children on the Thai-Burma border.
